About Bob: The Images Along the Way
I’ve spent thirty years showing up, waiting for the light, and trying not to get in the way of the story.
My career began in the black-and-white world of rural Iowa newspapers, where I learned that every small-town story has a heartbeat. That journey took me across the world to Thailand, where I spent twelve years documenting everything from the ancient ruins of Ayutthaya to the sweat-soaked "farang" music scene of the Bangkok Jungle. Whether it's a Little League game in Missouri or an underground set in a Thai basement blues bar, I’m there to capture the focus before the moment fades.Currently based in the Midwest, still chasing the light.
And yes, even today I still wear plaid shirts.
